During my stay in Sharm El Sheikh, I was lucky enough to stay at Jimmy's place at Sunny Lakes Resort, and I can say it was a really nice experience. The house was cozy and well cared for, perfect for relaxing after a day of hiking or sea. It was conveniently located inside the resort, with a large pool just steps away. The Sunny Lakes Resort is a well organized and safe place, with a relaxed atmosphere and a friendly community. Also, proximity to Sharm's main points of interest, such as Naama Bay or Soho Square, has made getting around very easy. Jimmy was an exceptional host - always available and ready to answer any questions or needs. She went above and beyond to make your stay comfortable and carefree. I recommend this place to anyone who wants to experience Sharm in an authentic way.

Let’s start by saying that if your trip to Egypt goes completely smoothly then it wouldn’t be much of an adventure! But what made the difference was how great Gamal (Jimmy) and his “man on the ground” Omar were. They were both quick to respond, super helpful and we felt really well looked after. And that extended out to the staff in the Pyramisa/V Hotel complex where the apartment is situated - all the staff are friendly and helpful. What is special about this apartment is how you get the best of both worlds - the flexibility of self catering and having your own space and privacy, with the amenities and options of an all inclusive resort. We mix and matched with the meal options. The hotel is large, with a lovely pool area (which was lively at times), several restaurants, a nice spa, a dive centre (which was great) and lots of coves/beaches to choose from. The coral and snorkelling from the jetty was really great, with loads of different fish. We had a great stay.

I spent two weeks with family, accommodation located in a beautiful resort where a good part of it has been renovated, and is still under renovation. A beautiful view in front of the home, with a large outdoor space to relax. Communication with Jimmy was excellent and he responds very quickly, and he reacts right away to find solutions. The house is large with furniture a little dated but beautiful, unfortunately the cleanliness of the house was insufficient, we cleaned the apartment and what we had to use, while the rest we left it where it was, clutter especially in the kitchen, and we pointed it out to Jimmy. Unfortunately, Egyptian cleaning standards are not the way they should be. Communication with the hotel reception, not being their customers, was not kind, even this fact was present to Jimmy. The organization between Host and Hotel is insufficient. I hope you get better. Apart from these issues, it was still a nice holiday.

Jimmy's place is a fantastic 5-star resort with full access to all the amenities. The chalet overlooks the ocean, offering stunning views of the sunrise around 6:30 AM each morning. If you're not a fan of walking, be mindful that there are quite a few stairs, especially if you take the longer route back to the hotel. However, you can always catch a shuttle cart that conveniently transports guests between the hotel reception and the beach area. The WiFi can be a bit spotty at times, which is to be expected in such a large resort. Taxis are easily available through the InDrive app, and it should cost no more than 100 Egyptian pounds to reach popular spots like Naama Bay or Soho Square. Overall, the location is excellent, with great amenities, yet it still offers plenty of privacy. I'd definitely stay here again. The chalet wasn’t quite up to my cleaning standards, but the issues were minor and easy to overlook.

I had an incredible experience staying at Jimmy’s place. It is stationed at a massive, beautiful resort with amazing food at their buffet. While being a big resort, you still have plenty of privacy at the chalet. It is very private with a gorgeous view of the water. The staff is all very helpful and Jimmy is always very responsive/friendly, and always willing to help/give good recommendations. As an added bonus.. there is a light setting in the bedroom for blue lights (if you want to set the mood😌). Thanks Jimmy!

The chalet is perfectly placed, far enough away from main hotel that you have privacy, but close enough to access all facilities when you want to. It was our first time in Sharm and we will definitely be back to stay at your place. We felt secure, very well looked after and safe. For any guests considering this chalet, we have no hesitation in recommending this great host and location. The only aspect you'd need to consider is the stairs to chalet, not many but worth noting for those who may need the heads up. Shops within close walking distance, easy access to Soho and Old Market, excellent excursions available with pick up at hotel reception. Grounds immaculate, staff so friendly and helpful. A perfect birthday break!"
